Senior Stylist

Amanda is an accomplished senior stylist who brings 5 years of experience to the Salon Sparrow team. Her ability to assess her client’s features, face shape and lifestyle allow her to direct people to their best look. Amanda specializes in highlighting and has a knack for color formulation.  She also loves working with layering techniques on both short and long hair. In addition to hairstyling Amanda is a talented makeup artist who has free-lanced with many major brands in the music and advertising industries. She has completed Salon Sparrow’s training program, which involves one on one cut and color education with salon owner Mary Nelson. She has also completed the 2018 and 2019 Moroccanoil class collection which includes straight razor, formal style, braid and blow dry training.  Amanda not only has a passion for styling hair, she is a true people person. She says, “I love this job because I not only get to enhance a person’s outer beauty but I can bring out their inner beauty as well.”
