Mary is a highly talented professional who has been practicing for over seventeen years. Her advanced educational background is extensive and she has trained with some of the industry’s top professionals. She honed her cutting and styling techniques through multiple courses taken at the Moroccanoil Academy and the Bumble and Bumble University located in Manhattan. Most recently she has worked amongst industry greats, styling hair at New York Fashion Week for designers including Oscar de la Renta, Cynthia Rowley, Cushnie et Ochs, Veronica Beard and Georgine. She has colored and styled hair for photoshoots and regularly travels to New York to collaborate on projects with editorial stylists and artistic directors. Prior to relocating to the Boston suburbs and opening Salon Sparrow, Mary worked and trained on Newbury Street.
As a Master Educator for Moroccanoil Mary travels the Northeast visiting high end salons where she utilizes her experience and education to train other industry professionals in cutting, bridal styling and finishing techniques. In addition, she educates stylists from across the country as a cutting instructor at Moroccanoil's Academy located in Manhattan. Mary specializes in corrective color, resistant grey coverage, layering techniques, and all forms of technical cutting.
